What Is It?
Microdermabrasion is a well-established method for skin resurfacing and rejuvenation. It is a safe, controlled and painless procedure where a stream of the micro-crystals is delivered onto the skin’s surface to allow gentle exfoliation. This strips away the dead and flaking skin cells on the epidermis leaving new and healthy cells on the surface while stimulating the production of collagen.

Microdermabrasion for Acne-prone Skin
The causes of acne are multi-factorial and different for each person. However, in most cases an increase of oil/sebum production leads to dead skin cells physically blocking pores which in turn causes blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, and deeper lumps called cysts or nodules.
While it may be tempting to extract a pimple, whitehead or blackhead yourself, most extractions are not performed properly and cause further inflammation trauma and possibly scarring your skin!

What Does Medical-grade Microdermabrasion Involve?
Our signature microdermabrasion is a comprehensive treatment performed by highly-trained dermal clinicians that involves four core modalities:
- Deep cleansing medical-grade microdermabrasion
- Extractions of impurities using a sterile curette
- Dual (red and blue) LED wavelength lights to settle inflammation and target bacteria-causing acne
- Vitamin ‘A’ peel is anti-bacterial and manage oil secretions
