Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy uses a high concentration mixture of growth factors and platelets obtained from one’s own blood. Platelets are cells found in the blood that trigger wound healing responses and rejuvenation when activated.

Regenera uses a high concentration mixture of growth factors and progenitor cells from one’s own tissue extracts (obtained via micro-graphs). Progenitor cells are early descendents of stem cells that play a role in tissue regeneration and repair.

In both treatments, growth factors are present. Growth factors are known to stimulate biochemical pathways that promote tissue repair and regeneration.
