VIVACE

Vivace Radiofrequency (RF) Microneedling is a non-surgical skin rejuvenation treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. It involves the use of a device that uses tiny needles to create small punctures in the skin, which stimulates the body’s natural healing process and promotes the production of collagen and elastin. In addition, the device also delivers radiofrequency energy to the deeper layers of the skin, which further promotes collagen production and skin tightening.

The treatment can be used to address a variety of skin concerns, including fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone and texture, acne scars, and sagging skin. We typically use topical anaesthetic cream to minimise any discomfort.

The Vivace RF Microneedling treatment involves little to no downtime. Patients may experience some mild redness or swelling immediately after the treatment, but this typically resolves within a day or two. Vivace’s built in LED phototherapy helps to minimise the amount of swelling and accelerate cell repair.

Overall, Vivace RF Microneedling is a safe and effective way to achieve smoother, more youthful-looking skin without the need for surgery or extensive downtime. However, as with any treatment, it is important to have a consultation with one of our friendly clinicians to determine if it is right for you and to discuss any potential risks or side effects.

What is so different about VIVACE compared to traditional Skin Needling?

Frequently Asked Questions

The treatment is relatively painless as a topical anaesthetic will be applied for approximately 20 – 30 minutes prior to the procedure. You may feel some prickling or a bit of heat around sensitive areas such as the mouth but most individuals will find it very comfortable.

Typically three passes are made over a single area so you may notice your clinician going over the same areas more than once. This is ensure that the tissue is treated adequately with the amount of heat delivered and an appropriate amount of skin needling.

Have a listen to Dr. Amanda Ong explain what her experience was like:

There is minimal downtime. You will be pink for the rest of the day, the amount of pink or redness is similar to that of a sunburn. There may also be very minimal amount of swelling but these will resolve themselves within 24 – 48 hours. We do not recommend that you use any makeup for the first 24 hours. Please follow the instructions of your clinician.

We would recommend at least 3 sessions performed 4-8 weeks apart for best results.
